SpringSound is a physical-modeling audio synthesizer that generates sounds through simulating interactions and vibrations of activators and masses connected to springs. This model provides precise control over an array of features, such as gravity, bouncing, fluid and static friction, mechanical limits, non-linear functions, and more.
SpringSound comes with an extensive collection of sound presets that are customizable and savable. Whether as a sound generator or an effect processor using its Audio-In feature, SpringSound opens up a new realm of physical modeled effects. It is fully compatible with Audiobus® 2 and inter-app audio for seamless integration and state saving.
Controlling SpringSound is effortless with a standard MIDI keyboard or directly from your iOS device screen. It also supports the new MIDI MPE (expressive MIDI) for compatibility with expressive controllers like the Haken Continuum, ROLI Seaboard, Linnstrument, Madrona Labs Soundplane, and more.
The SpringSound app is expertly optimized for use with the Haken Continuum (www.hakenaudio.com) and includes an IOS Continuum Remote (iPad only) for precise remote control of the Continuum from your iPad (excluding Eagan Matrix programming).
Designed to unlock sonic territories unattainable with other synthesis techniques, SpringSound broadens your sonic palette with a unique range of physical sounds. It serves as a versatile musical instrument, a refined sound-design asset, and an engaging sonic exploration platform.
SpringSound stands as the evolved successor to the Ackorage-Spring app.
